An order is only one part of the record
When a purchase order is detached from the job and quotation that led to it, a later question about quantity, delivery destination or price can require a search through several systems.
Partial deliveries create another gap if a receipt is recorded without the order line or if the remaining quantity is not clear.

In the development build, approved requisitions can produce supplier-specific draft purchase orders. Role-based thresholds apply to order approval, and creating an order does not automatically issue or send it.

Are purchase orders sent automatically?
No. Creating a draft order does not send it. Order issue and any configured email action require separate deliberate steps.
