Compare supplier quotations with the details in view.
Bring recorded offers back to the material requirement and make the purchasing decision with a clear evidence trail.
The cheapest unit price is not always comparable
Supplier quotations can cover different quantities, pack sizes or delivery dates. Freight may be quoted separately or left unknown. Comparing headline unit prices without those differences can produce a misleading result.
Engineering specifications matter as much as price. A changed part number or specification needs review before anyone treats an offer as equivalent.
Record, compare and review
The development build records supplier offers against an RFQ, including offered quantities, unit prices and known freight or expediting charges. Comparisons group compatible line sets, quantities and currencies.
A buyer can propose a whole-offer choice and a manager approves it. Missing charges are not treated as free; supplier communication is preview-only and quotations are recorded locally.
Follow the work, not just the records.
Two suppliers quote the same batch of machined blanks. One has a lower unit price but higher freight; compare the recorded totals and confirmed dates before deciding.
- Review recorded goods and delivery costs
- Keep specification and delivery context visible
- Document the reason for a supplier choice
The platform is in development. Screens show the development interface, named Atlas Inventory, with synthetic test data; availability and appearance may change.
Frequently asked questions
Does the comparison automatically select a supplier?
No. It presents comparison information; a buyer proposes a choice and a manager reviews it.
Are different currencies automatically converted?
No. Offers in different currencies are kept separate; the development build does not infer exchange rates.
